Sandra Morris and Ben Fox are the rich snobs of the class, and as a result Boffin and one of the students decided to embarrass them both in class. One day, Boffin brought his latest invention to class, which is a lie detector. The student wanted to test the lie detector on Sandra in order to expose her of the secret she's supposedly hiding. In the end, it turns out that Sandra is in love with the narrator, and the joke is on himself.
The ghosts realize that the conditions are right for them to save their ship which sank a hundred years ago. Matthew possesses Pete in order to turn on the lighthouse lamp.
